Samsung Galaxy Note 7

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 looks to be not only the best Phablet in 2017, but will likely compete for one of the best smartphones of the year. The Note series has consistently become one of the most anticipated Android smartphones on the market each and every year, and the 7th release looks to be no different.
The following preview takes an in-depth look at the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 rumors, specs, features, concept, price, preorders, and release date info.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Rumors

Still with plenty of time to go, we’re already hearing numerous Samsung Galaxy Note 7 rumors. The many concept changes while enhancing all of the top features seen in previous Note smartphones are already looking amazing. If you’re currently looking for something new and innovative, waiting until the 2017 launch of the Note 7 may be something worth considering.
Sammy has been pretty consistent with launching their new Note flagship around the same time, but as another high-end handset from Apple looking to be released around the same time it brings with it new release date rumors. The most consistent rumors suggest a mid to late-September release, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we see the Note 7 much earlier.
Other rumors include a new display technology making the visuals truly lifelike and camera specs that will literally immerse user’s right into the moment. A 3D display is coming, and we’ve even heard rumors on the possibility of a fully foldable concept. We’ll continue to update you with the very latest Galaxy Note 7 rumors and of course all the confirmations as soon as we get more.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Specs

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 specs will be many enhancements when comparing it to the Note 5 and Note 6. The new Phablet will certainly bring more speed, more memory options, larger display, and a premium outer surround that will prove to be a huge difference. When asking consumers what’s one of the most significant aspects of any smartphone, it’s not the visuals, processing power, or the camera, but instead, it’s the durability.
The Galaxy Note 7 is believed to boast an outer casing consisting of an alloy metal composite. While these leaks have yet to be made official, it could mean a nearly in-destructible phone. The display is said to be made of a new Corning Gorilla Glass that will provide optimal protection from drops and other forms of screen damage.
The camera specs are certain to get an upgrade as the rear camera is rumored to feature a 32 megapixels while the front is said to feature a 9 MP snapper. Powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 3.3GHz, 6 GB RAM, and 4200 mAh battery is believed to offer days worth of juice.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Features

Despite the idea there’s still so much time before the official unveiling, we’re already hearing so much on the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 features. Samsung has done a tremendous job with keeping new innovations under-wraps, but they have already publicly stated there’s a foldable concept phone in the near future.
No specific details have been given, but Sammy has already filed for a patent which leads us to expect nothing less, but speculate on which series or if a new Samsung foldable series will be launched all-together. We’re holding out for a foldable Note 7 that will feature bi-level displays that allow for independent viewing and interaction, but no official details are out.
It’s also believed the Note 7 will finally be waterproof, offer premium and faster wireless charging, faster charging capabilities, a fingerprint scanner, and a more responsive eye scanner. The last feature is something that we’ve been hearing is coming, but new details are in to suggest it’s almost a guarantee. With the increasingly popularity of mobile payment options such as Samsung Pay and Android Pay, having the sense of true eye sensing technology will be the best form of security yet.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 concept will enhance all of the top aspects that we’ve seen in all previous models while making the new phone more durable, more secure, faster, and overall, create a much better user experience. Sammy has done a great job of creating a handset that fits well for those looking for a business and/personal use handset, and the multitasking capabilities of the new Note 7 is expected to be even more impressive.
We’re fully expecting Samsung to move to a new metal alloy that will make the new phone much lighter, and much more durable. Rumors on a nearly in-destructible display will help consumers get the out-of-box protection we’ve been looking for. A reported uni-body design will make the battery un-removable, but it’ll be ok with a much larger 4200 mAh battery.
Coupled with wireless charging plus and a rapid charging feature that is believed to provide a full charge from 0% to 100% in less than 30 minutes. For users on the go, the Galaxy Note 7 will be the perfect smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Price

Samsung is looking to keep the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 price very competitive, and will be priced to sell around the same time as the latest iPhone 7s Plus which will be launched around the same time. Despite being bigger, faster, and boast a new set of features that have yet to be seen, we’re even hearing information that Sammy is looking to drop the launch day price to give them the upper hand in a very competitive market. With start-ups out of China launching handsets cheaper and comparable in specs, it will be interesting to see if the release date price rumors hold-up.
You can expect all of the top carriers worldwide to get in on the Note 7 release as it’ll surely be one of the hottest smartphones of 2017. Many are already calling it the best Android smartphone to-date, and based on everything above it’s easy to see why.
Cell carrier prices will be pretty consistent, and here in the US the top 5 including T-Mobile, US Cellular, Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T will be featuring the launch. The latest launch date prices should be in the area of $900 for those looking to pay the full price, with carrier 2-year contracts expected at $299.
Many carriers are moving away from contract prices with T-Mobile being the first and replacing them with lease pricing. On Verizon Edge, AT&T Next, and other installment options, the price should be around $35-$37/month with no money down.
We’ll update you with the official carrier Galaxy Note 7 price for all of the top carriers worldwide as soon as we get it. For now, be sure to check out below for what we believe will be the launch day prices in a market near you.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Preorders

One thing that we know for certain is you’ll want to take advantage of preorders as soon as they become available. New Note handsets have sold out relatively quick in markets worldwide, and for those who don’t typically preorder there have been extensive delays. With the huge consumer expectations expected, getting in on early Samsung Galaxy Note 7 preorders may be the only way of getting ahold of one on launch day.
Preorders are done through your local carrier with an official announcement of when and how much to come soon after the phone itself is made official. If the release date rumors above hold-true, then we can expect carriers to start offering preorders around the 2nd week in September. Some carriers will be looking to bring in a few more customers which may just mean free accessories for those who preorder early.

iphone 7

iPhone 7 is the most anticipated device of the year 2016 that I believe, could make debut any time in winters just like iPhone 6S. The phone will be slightly larger than its predecessors and will be having other ultra advanced technology. Since the Cupertino, California based tech giant releases new iOS just before the launch of next generation iPhone, it is anticipated that the new iPhone, i.e. iPhone 7 gonna feature latest operation system with plenty of new interesting features, new UI, smarter SIRI, ultra fast processor and improved camera for clicking sharper pictures.

iPhone 7 release date

If we talk about the siblings of iPhone 7, Apple followed a set pattern for their release but a few of them were released at completely different time. If apple gonna follow the same cycle as it used for iPhone 5 and 5S, 5C, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, iPhone 6S we can anticipate that the release date of iPhone 7 will fall sometimes in September 2016.
The first iPhone was released in 2007 and it was the most hyped consumer product followed by release of iPhone 3G, iPhone 3G S, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S and 5C, iPhone 6, 6 Plus and now iPhone 6S. Have a look at the release dates of different iPhones.

September 2012

September 2013
iPhone 6 and 6 Plus

iPhone 7
So if we look at the pattern that Apple is following, the first four generation iPhone was released in June month of each year with just one add release of iPhone 4S that was taken place in October 2012. The reason behind for the delay was that iPhone 4 was a huge success and the company didn’t wanted to bring new iPhone in the market.

After that tech giant follow ed different cycle wherein all the  new iPhone were being released in the month of September. every year.  So assuming Apple going to follow same pattern for iPhone 7 as well, I can project the iPhone 7 release date will fall sometime during September 2016 however it again depend on the company’s strategies when they want to launch new iPhone in the market.

iPhone 7 specifications

As far as specification is concern, there is not much news about it however since very new iPhone (except S’s and C’s versions) are launched with latest iOS. So iPhone 7 will going to feature new OS i.e. iOS 10 which possibly be announced latest by September 2016.
If we talk about the screen size, the device is going to feature a little bigger screen than its predecessors i.e. iPhone 6 and 6 Plus which measure screen size of 4.7 and 5.5 respectively. Therefore the new iPhone will probably feature 5.8 screen size with OLED display. As far as camera is concern, iPhone 7 will sport improved 13 megapixel primary iSight camera with 8 megapixel secondary one.

iPhone 7 features

Sapphire Glass – According to the last rumors, the new iPhone 7 may feature Sapphire glass instead of Corning’s Gorilla glass that is being used in current iPhone. Sapphire glass is pretty much tough glass which is not easily breakable and the company is already using it in iWatch. It would be fair decision if Apple decides to use the same glass in new iPhone as well. As perMacworld, Apple is backing Arizona based plant run by G T Advanced Technologies that can be used to manufacture iPhone display.
Button-less design – The company may ditch its traditional design and come up with all new button-less design for its new iPhone 7. The home button which is being used in current iPhone can be eliminated completely to provide bigger space on the screen.
Wireless Charging – The rivals like Samsung is already offering wireless charging facility to the customer which is pretty much convenient. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge can be charged wirelessly and the customers have appreciated this facility. Apple can’t afford to lag behind its rivals and it makes sense for the company to allow iPhone 7 charge wirelessly.
Improved iSight Camera – To enhance the picture quality, Apple might use iSight camera which will help you take bright and clear picture through its anticipated 13 megapixel primary camera. The iPhone 7 will be able to take pretty much better picture through its 8 megapixel secondary camera as well.
Water and dust proof – To give maximum protection to such premium device, the California based techie planing to make iPhone 7 Water as well as dust proof. According to the rumors, the phone will be waterproofed to iP67 standard which is meant for making devices water and dust proof. As per IP67 the device wouldn’t get damaged if it submerged under 1 meter water for 30 mins.
OLED display – The latest rumors suggest that the iPhone 7 may feature OLED display instead of LCD which is currently being used. OLED screen generates its own light to illuminate however LCD screen requires back light to glow.

iPhone 7 price

With all these advanced features, I can anticipate the price of iPhone 7 may fall between the price range of 800-900 USD depending upon different locations and GB memory. The Phone could be available in contract with mobile carriers but at this point of time it is pretty hard to predict which carrier will have the privilege. With contract, the consumer will have to spend a couple of hundred dollar initially and rest can be paid in due course as contract lasts. Below are the tentative price of iPhone 7 in different countries.
CountryTentative price of iPhone 7 (16 GB/32 GB)
United States$800-$900
United Kingdom£500- £550
AustraliaA$ 1100-A$1200
CanadaC$ 1050- C$1200

Update 1:

The company is trying hard to make the new iPhone as thinner as possible and according to latestrumors, the iPhone 7 will be the thinnest iPhone ever with 6.1 mm thickness, 1mm thinner than iPhone 6S. The rumors also suggest that the company may ditch headphone socket in an attempt to make it thin.

Update 2: Fan out technology.

Apple will use Fan Out technology to increase number of I/O terminals within a package according to etnews. It will help the device become thinner and have more battery capacity. Apart from this the loss of signals could also be minimized by using this technology. Since the device is going to be thinner, it is expected that Apple may drop 3.5mm jack and the people need to buy accessories for external radio.

Update 3: Apple may ditch 3.5 mm jack

The latest rumors suggests that the Cuppertino, California based tech giant may ditch 3.5 mm headphone jack to make the device slimmer ever. While the new iPhone 7 is several months away from its debut, the rumors at many tech blogs & websites are floating about the possible features, design, specification & price. The latest leak confirm the elimination of 3.5 mm jack.

Update 4:

The new iPhone 7 may ditch the aluminum casting and get back to all-glass body – Read more
It is also rumors that new iPhone 7 will have dual sensor camera for better picture quality – Read more

Update 5: Apple wouldn’t include rumored Smart Connector

The rumors about Smart Connector feature being included in iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus were floating around for quite sometime but now the latest rumors suggest Apple wouldn’t be including it in any of two phone which are said to be making debut this autumn. The Smart connector feature was first included in 12-inch iPad Pro last year that helps with transferring data and the power between the device and attached accessories.

Update 6 – iPhone 7 in Dark and Space Black

According to the latest rumors, designer Hajek‘s images of 3D renders show the new iPhone 7 in dark and space black as spotted by 9to5Mac.

Update 7 – iPhone 7 lacks dual camera, iPhone 7 pro to feature

The latest rumors according to well known technology websites TechCrunch & Nowhereelse reveal the iPhone 7 will not be featuring dual camera at the back and the same thing may come out to be true for iPhone 7 Plus as well which was earlier rumored to be featuring dual camera. The rumors suggest that only iPhone 7 Pro will be having dual camera and be much powerful than iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

Update 8 (Jul 24, 2016) – iPhone 7 have a launch date, September 12th

iPhone 7 now have a release date, September 12, 2016 according to evleak’s Evan Blass Tweet. We have seen Evan’s predictions coming out to be true in the past. If this rumor too comes out to be true, the most awaited iPhone 7 along with its sibling iPhone 7 Plus can be unleashed on September 12. So if you are planning to upgrade your iPhone 6 to 6S, I would recommend you to wait till iPhone 7 is unveiled.

iPhone 6 vs iPhone 6 Plus

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

Apple launched two new iPhones, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus, in September of 2014. Along with larger screens and a completely new iPad-style design with an ultra thin body and rounded corners, the two new phones offer faster processors, better cameras, and NFC for Apple's Apple Pay payment system.
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus originally came in Gold, Silver, and Space Gray in 16, 64, and 128 GB capacities. The iPhone 6 pricing started at $199 on contract or $649 without contract, while the iPhone 6 Plus pricing started at $299 on contract or $749 without contract. With the release of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in September 2015, Apple reduced prices on the older iPhone 6 and 6 Plus models by $100 and eliminated Gold as a color option. Only Silver and Space Gray remain available.
While both models include the same 64-bit A8 chip and the same general design, there are several differences between the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The iPhone 6 measures in at 6.9mm, while the iPhone 6 Plus is slightly thicker at 7.1mm. Apple's iPhone 6 Plus also has three major differentiating factors: optical image stabilizationfor the camera, and a longer battery life, and an iPad-style landscape mode that displays more content on the screen.
Though the iPhone 6 Plus has optical image stabilization, both phones got some major camera improvements in form of sensor upgrades, improved tone mapping, better noise reduction, and new "Focus Pixel" technology, which improves the phone's ability to select autofocus points. For videos, there's a new240fps slo-mo option, along with support for shooting in 1080p at 60fps. The front-facing camera was also upgraded, with anf/2.2 aperture that lets in more light and new burst mode capabilities.

Both phones have an impressive "Retina HD Display," with the iPhone 6 featuring a resolution of 1334 x 750 (326 ppi) and the iPhone 6 Plus featuring a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (401 ppi).
Design wise, the phones more closely resemble the iPad and the iPod touch than the iPhone 5s. Both models have soft, rounded corners and a curved glass screen that melds smoothly into the thin metal body of the device. The volume buttons on the left side of the device are pill-shaped, and the power button is located on the right side of the device for easier one-handed use.

To further make its devices easier to use one-handed, Apple added in a double tap (not press) home button gesture called "Reachability," which moves items from the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen for quick access.
Other new features in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus included Wi-Fi calling support, faster 802.11ac Wi-Fi, and support for Voice over LTE (VoLTE).

IPHONE 6 VS. IPHONE 6S BUYER'S GUIDE

Planning to upgrade to an iPhone 6 or 6s and need help figuring out which model to buy?
Make sure to check out our iPhone 6 vs. iPhone 6s Buyer's Guide, which walks through all of the available features on each device and the differences between them. It'll help you choose the best iPhone, whether you're upgrading from an iPhone 5s or earlier or trying to decide whether to upgrade from an iPhone 6 to an iPhone 6s.

In More Detail

DESIGN

Measuring in at 4.7 and 5.5-inches, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus dwarf earlier iPhone models, but at the same time, the two phones became Apple's thinnest yet, measuring in at 6.9 and 7.1mm, respectively. For comparison's sake, the iPhone 5s was 7.6mm thick.
According to Apple, the thinner profile was made possible by the company's "thinnest display yet," which is made of slightly curved glass designed to flow seamlessly into the body of the device to highlight the "Retina HD" screen of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Both devices include prominent antenna bands on the back enclosure, along with a protruding rear lens. The volume buttons are pill-shaped, much like the buttons on the iPad Air, and the power button has been relocated to the right side of the device.
The iPhone 6 measures in at 5.44 inches long and 2.64 inches wide, and weighs 4.55 ounces. The iPhone 6 measures in at 6.22 inches long and 3.06 wide, weighing 6.07 ounces. In comparison, the iPhone 5s is 4.87 inches long, 2.31 inches wide, and it weighs 3.95 ounces.

RETINA HD DISPLAY

iPhone 6 rumors largely suggested Apple would use a sapphire display cover in the device, but that turned out to be false. Instead, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus use "ion-strengthened" glass with animproved polarizer (for better outdoor viewing), a photo aligned IPS liquid crystal display, and a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.

BATTERY LIFE

The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus both offer improved battery life, but due to the larger size of iPhone 6 Plus, it is able to accommodate a larger battery. The iPhone 6 has an 1,810 mAh battery, while the iPhone 6 Plus has a battery capacity of 2,915 mAh.
Because it has a bigger battery, the iPhone 6 Plus has a longer battery life than the smaller iPhone 6. 3G talk time for the iPhone 6 Plus is at 24 hours, compared to just 14 hours in the iPhone 6, for example, while HD video playback is at 14 hours for the iPhone 6 Plus and 11 hours for the iPhone 6.

CAMERA IMPROVEMENTS

The iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus continued to sport an 8-megapixel f/2.2 rear camera, but the addition of several new features result in vastly improved picture quality. Continuing to offer improved camera capabilities has always been a priority for Apple, with the company even opting to include a protruding lens design to avoid making image quality sacrifices for the sake of the thin design of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.
The first major new feature, "Focus Pixels," was designed to speed up autofocusing by providing the sensor with more information about an image, while improved auto image stabilization compensates for slight amounts of motion blur and hand shakiness. Focus Pixels vastly speed up autofocusing times and improve autofocusing in low light situations, as demonstrated in a review of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus cameras.
Both phones also included improved face detection capabilities and more control over exposure, and the Panorama feature added support for high-resolution panoramic photos of up to 43 megapixels.
Video options were improved in the two devices, making it possible to capture 1080p HD video at 60fps.
There was also a new 240fps slo-mo mode, as well as time-lapse video, which was introduced with iOS 8
